CALORIES, CALORIES, CALORIES
Caloric intake will depend upon your fitness goals and determine your results. If
your goal is to lose fat/weight, your caloric intake will have to be slightly lower
then your caloric output (all daily activity + exercise). If your goal is to gain
muscle/weight, your caloric intake needs to be slightly higher then your caloric
output. All humans have caloric intake needs which are determined by several factors:
height, weight, muscle-fat ratio, and activity level. This caloric maintenance level
will determine your starting point and your goal calories. It’s all about understanding
the calories your body needs, and understanding the calories you choose to take
in. Macronutrients: (Dietary Nutrients) Carbohydrates, Protein, and Fat affect your
energy, your satisfaction level, and ability to repair muscle tissue.
